Elisabetta is a double immigrant, born in Italy and raised in Venezuela, living in Texas. She is a 2026 UCROSS Fellow and PERIPLUS Fellow, and was a 2025 Tennessee Williams Scholar at Sewanee Writers’ Conference. She earned her MFA in Fiction and Nonfiction at Bennington Writing Seminars. Her nonfiction won the 2024 New Letters Literary Awards, and in 2022 she received 2nd Place in the Hispanic Culture Review poetry competition. Her work has also appeared in Cleaver Magazine, Another Chicago Magazine, Stone Canoe, The Pointed Circle, Texas Poetry Calendar, and other journals.
